CLASS-1
The class begin with a quick reacap of what we did in the last semester which was the basics of photoshop and illustrator and then sir briefed us about the new semester and the new projects which we have to do and then we were asked to design a poster of a tim burto movie which we made then.
CLASS-2
We were introduced to the indesign software and we were taught the basics of it begining with its importance,It can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, presentations, books and ebooks.
INDesign provides the tools necessary to design pages and create visual layouts that can be used for both print and digital media. InDesign provides a simplified way to create pages which can be published and distributed in print or online.
InDesign is especially useful for documents containing multiple pages, layouts that combine text and images, and those containing significant amounts of text. Then we were asked to make a layout
Week 3
The class started with us getting introduced to our project so basically we had to create a booklet on the book Calvino and on the basis of that we had to create layout for five chapters.
Sir then showed us how to place photos, layouts of text, typography and it’s very useful as it enhances the quality of the work.
Week 4
In today’s class we were explained more about layouts and typography so we should think befor combining two fonts together and how it will look after getting placed the setting of the page has to be done accordingly every combination has its own different empact and result.
Week 5
The present class was a continuation of making formats for the invisible cities. Today we had the opportunity to make our own formats the manner in which we would envision them.
We talked about our seminar and studio extends as it was totally connected to imaging. We needed to make the booklet with the workshop articles and studio drawings. Each part needed to have it’s own format and we needed to pick them carefully.
Week 6
In the present class we talked about or project We needed to make a booklet which would contain the five expositions we wrote in the seminar class alongside components from our studio representations.
After the concise we talked about various kinds binds. Sir disclosed to us the distinction, reason and utilization of binds. The various sorts of binds are perfect binding kettle binding spiral binding Japanese binding and etc and then We also discussed how we would do the layout – adding margins, page numbers etc. after that we discussed the content.
